The Jubilee Year 2025  “Pilgrims of Hope

1.   ”Prayer for the Jubilee” will be recited before Sunday Mass (5 minutes). Let’s pray together! Please use the prayer card (located at the back of the church). Please return it after Mass. (Also posted in announcement
   Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your son, Jesus Christ,our brother,and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your Kingdom.
   May your grace transform us into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel. May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when with the powers of Evil vanquished,your glory will shine eternally.
   May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever. Amen.
2. Yokkaichi Church General Assembly
   February 2nd (Sunday) after 10:00 Mass Location: Cathedral. Everyone, please actively participate. Please bring the General Meeting Items from the rear of the church.
3. Chant practice February 9th~ Every Sunday at 9:20 a.m., we will practice the Jubilee hymn, “Pilgrim of Hope.”We look forward to your participation.
4.  “World Day of the Sick” February 11th (Tuesday) 7:00At the 7:00 Mass,you can receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.*About the anointing of the sick: You can receive it at any time if you wish. Hospitals, facilities, homes, etc.  Please contact the church.

6. . Preparation for Ash Wednesday Please bring last year’s branches from Sunday, February 23rd, to make ashes.Please put it in the collection box in the church lobby.
7. “Christmas donation” report
    The Christmas donation was decided by the council as follows:
   ① Caritas Japan We will donate  each to② Hosannaen Children’s Home and ③ Sasashima Kyosei Society.(④ The balance is Yokkaichi Church accounting)Thank you very much for your cooperation.

     St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.May God rebuke him, we humbly pray ; and   do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the wicked spirits, who roam through the world, seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.
